MilitaryBases.com is proud to announce the next evolution in support and services for the United States Armed Forces. With the new MilitaryBases.com College Scholarship Program, military men and women of all ages can apply and compete for up to $1000 towards higher education expenses.
More than 1.4 million U.S. citizens are currently active in the military and need support from the country they are so valiantly protecting. The Federal government and nonprofit organizations offer multiple scholarships to partially and fully cover tuition costs for college to veterans, active duty personnel, as well as family related to members of the military. The Army ROTC, in addition to the Navy and Air Force ROTC programs are three of the nation’s biggest scholarship grantors, providing approximately $274 million in money to more than 13,000 students every year, according to the U.S. Army Cadet Command.
The MilitaryBases.com college scholarship program is an excellent supplement to other scholarships and will be offering $1,000 to qualified applicants for the upcoming school year. This will be an ongoing scholarship and all members of the U.S. Armed Forces are encouraged to apply if interested in attending higher education institutions and colleges. In order to apply for this scholarship, applicants must provide a well written 500-word essay with the topic being on what serving your country means to you and how this scholarship would help your overall efforts at succeeding in college.
